About the Roles of Forest Guard 2025
Forest Guards protect wildlife, enforce forest laws, and assist in anti-poaching operations. Foresters supervise conservation activities, manage forest blocks, and lead afforestation drives. Surveyors map terrain, assist in land-use planning, and maintain geographic records.
Eligibility Criteria for RSSB Forest Guard & Forester
- Forest Guard: Class 10 pass + working knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari) & Rajasthani culture.
- Forester: Class 12 pass + ITI Certificate in Civil Survey or Diploma in Civil Engineering + same language requirements.
- Surveyor: Same as Forester.
